Grounded in Ukraine and shaped by multicultural roots, jān is a family-born jewelry brand created by two sisters and now based in Amsterdam.

Our name comes from jān — a term of endearment in Dari and the affectionate word our grandfather used for us — symbolising family and the sense of home that guides every design.

jān celebrates empowerment and beauty through bold, statement jewelry. Each piece is handcrafted in Kyiv by independent artisans and produced in small batches or made to order. Guided by circularity and responsible craftsmanship, unused materials are re-melted and reborn, ensuring every creation honours both the craft and the material.

We are deeply proud to collaborate with artisans whose resilience and dedication bring our ideas to life, even in the most challenging circumstances. A portion of our revenue supports Ukrainian defence initiatives, reinforcing jān’s commitment to empowerment, community, and home.
